In Arthur County on the 14th, an Eurasian Collared-Dove was seen in Arthur.
In Keith County on the 14th and 16th, a Snowy Egret, 2 White-faced Ibises, 2 Peregrine
Falcons, 3 American Golden-Plovers, 103 Piping Plovers, 63 Whimbrels, 142 Sanderlings,
8 Cattle Egrets, a Great Egret, a Broad-winged Hawk, 49 Black-bellied Plovers, a first
alternate Great Black-backed Gull, a Blue-winged Warbler, Black-throated Green Warbler,
Palm Warbler, Kentucky Warbler, a female Purple Martin and a Common Tern were recorded
at Lake McConaughy and Lake Ogallala. Also a Mississippi Kite in west Ogallala.
In Garden County on the 16th, a Green Heron and Blue-Grey Gnatcatchers were observed.
In Lincoln County on the 16th, a Ruby-throated Hummingbird has been visiting a feeder
in Brady for the past 5 days. Five Great Crested Flycatchers were seen at Chester
Island WMA south and west of Brady
In Dougles County on the 17th, a White-winged Dove was seen near 56th and Lake Street
in Omaha.
In Douglas County on the 17th, a Nashville Warbler, 4 American Redstarts, a Magnolia
Warbler, a Cerulean Warbler, a Kentucky Warbler, a Scarlet Tanager, 2 Indigo Buntings,
a Great Crested Flycatcher and a Barred Owl were observed at Hummel Park in Omaha.
In Washington County on the 17th, a Northern Parula, a Yellow-throated Vireo, a
Great Crested Flycatcher and 2 Barred Owls were recorded at Neale Woods Ecology Trail.
In Douglas County on the 17th, 3 American Redstarts, a Chestnut-sided Warbler and a
Great Crested Flycatcher were seen at Towl Park (near 90th & Center Streets) in Omaha.
In Sarpy County on the 17th, a Canada Warbler was seen at Fontenelle Forest.
In Scotts Bluff County on the 17th, 2 Ross's Geese were seen at at Lake Minatare,
a Dusky Flycatcher was seen at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering and a Red Crossbill was
observed at the Wildcat Hills Nature Center.
In Kimball County on the 17th, a Peregrine Falcon (southwest of Kimball), a Mountain
Plover (southern part) and a Western Tanager (Bushnell Cemetery) were seen. Also
2 White-faced Ibises and a MacGillivray's Warbler were recorded at Oliver Reservoir.
In Lincoln County on the 18th, a pair of Scissor-tailed Flycatchers were hunting in
the middle of North Platte.
In Lancaster County on the 18th, a singing male Golden-winged Warbler was observed on
University of Nebraska Lincoln City Campus in Lincoln.
In Knox County on the 18th, a calling Baird's Sparrow was seen 1/4 mile south of the
intersection of Road 530 (Creighton Hospital Road - North) and Road 877.
In Lancaster County on the 18th, 3 Upland Sandpipers, a Magnolia Warbler and 4
Blackpoll Warblers were seen at Spring Creek Prairie near Denton.
In Sheridan County on the 18th, a Cinnamon Teal, 17 Black-necked Stilts, an Eurasian
Collared-Dove (Alliance) and a Cassin's Kingbird (north of Rushville) were recorded.
A Cape May Warbler and a Blackburnian Warbler were seen at Smith Lake.
In Lancaster County on the 19th, an Alder Flycatcher and a Black-billed Cuckoo were
recorded at Spring Creek Prairie near Denton.
In Lincoln County on the 20th, 15 Western Grebes, 13 Forster's Terns, 28 Black Terns
(North Platte Sewage Lagoons) and a Green Heron and numerous Bobolinks (North Platte
River) were seen.
In Morrill County on the 20th, a couple of pairs of Cassin's kingbirds, a Golden Eagle,
a Burrowing Owl, and a Bullock's Oriole were seen in a canyon south of Redington.
In Sarpy County on the 21st, a Hooded Warbler was seen at Walnut Grove park.
In the Eastern Rainwater Basin on the 21st, a Ruddy Turnstone, a few Peregrine Falcons
and a Least Tern (17th at Spikerush WMA) were recorded.
In Lincoln County on the 21st, 2 Green Herons, an Upland Sandpiper, a Ruby-throated
Hummingbird (Brady) and 2 Yellow-breasted Chats were seen.
In Sarpy County on the 22nd, 3 Chestnut-sided Warblers, a Black-and-white Warbler,
2 Blackpoll Warblers and a Magnolia Warbler were recorded at Walnut Grove park.
In Douglas County on the 22nd, a Hooded Merganser was seen at Abomination Marsh
(168st & hwy 36) in NW part of that county.
In Washington County on the 22nd, an Upland Sandpiper was seen near county roads
19 and 32.
In Nemaha County on the 22nd, a Black-billed Cuckoo, 26 Yellow-billed Cuckoos,
a Pileated Woodpecker, an Olive-sided Flycatcher, 8 Acadian Flycatchers, 9 Northern
Parulas, 28 American Redstarts, a Prothonotary Warbler, a Worm-Eating Warbler,
12 Kentucky Warblers, a Mourning Warbler, 5 Summer Tanagers and 8 Scarlet Tanagers
were seen at Indian Cave SP.
In Cheyenne County on the 22nd, a Bullock's Oriole, a Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher and a
Lark Bunting were seen in Sidney.
