Reminder that Dues are Due
As of last count, there are 50+ members that have not sent in their renewals.  With the switch to
four newletters a year, there will be fewer opportunities to remind everyone that memberships
should be paid at the beginning of each calendar year (January).  If you haven't renewed your
membership yet, please do so.

NOU Member Directory
We will be sending out a new NOU directory of members in the next few months (one more reason to
send in the dues).  If your contact information has changed recently, please get the changes in
as soon as possible.

Upcoming Events
2006 Spring Conference May 19-21  Ponca State Park
2006 Fall Conference (southeast Nebraska) TBA
2007 Spring Conference (North Platte) TBA

2005 Nebraska County Lists

The 2005 Nebraska County Lists are included here.  If you have questions about them, please contact Mark Brogie whose contact information can be found on the back page of this newsletter.

Election Information
Elections will occur at the general meeting during the Spring Conference at Ponca State Park.  Currently
the nominating committee has the following slate of candidates:  President, Dave Heidt;  Vice President,
Urban Lehner;  Secretary, Kevin Poague;  Treasurer, Betty Grenon;  Librarian, Mary Lou Prichard;  NBR
Editor, Janis Paseka;  Director, Steve Lamphere.  Anyone wanting to run for a position can contact a
member of the nominating committee (Helen Hughson or Don Paseka).

2006 Spring Conference Information
The spring meeting will be held at Ponca State Park
May 19-21
I hope everyone will be able to attend the spring conference.  For those of you who have not been to
Ponce State Park, it has some great scenery and (if we hit the migration right) should have some great
birding.  If you happened to glance at the county totals for Dixon County, you will notice that three
of the top four totals in Dixon County are by our field trip leaders (Jan Johnson, Bill Huser, and
Mark A. Brogie), so you will hit a few spots that you might not get to on your own.

The Friday night presentation (not your average vacation slides--not your average vacation either)
and Saturday night presentations look to be fun and entertaining--want more details, check out the
