Welcome to an update of the Nebraska Birdline, sponsored by the Audubon
Society of Omaha, for Saturday, December 4th.

In western Nebraska on the 3rd in Keith County at Lake McConaughy, an
adult male TUFTED DUCK was seen below the dam on Lake Ogallala. This is
a first state record. Also seen there and on Lake McConaughy were a
RED-NECKED GREBE, 54 GREATER SCAUP, 2 BLACK SCOTERS, 2 SURF SCOTERS,
2 LONG-TAILED DUCKS (Oldsquaws), and a POMARINE JAEGER.
