Welcome to an update of the Nebraska Birdline, sponsored by the Audubon
Society of Omaha, for Friday, November 12th.

In eastern Nebraska in Douglas County on the 10th and 11th at Neale Woods,
a BALD EAGLE, RED- BREASTED NUTHATCHES, a WINTER WREN, a CAROLINA WREN,
FOX SPARROWS, RUSTY BLACKBIRDS, PURPLE FINCHES and PINE SISKINS were seen.
On the 11th in Dodge Park, south of Neale Woods, a BALD EAGLE, 6
GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLETS, 4 YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS, a FOX SPARROW, 2 RUSTY
BLACKBIRDS, a PURPLE FINCH and a PINE SISKIN were seen in a weedy area east
of the marina.

In Sarpy County on the 10th, a WESTERN GREBE, a LESSER SCAUP and 2
BUFFLEHEADS were found at Wehrspann Lake northwest of Papillion. On the
10th in Bellevue, an AMERICAN WOODCOCK was seen in a yard on San Rafael
Road west of Fontenelle Hills housing area. On the 10th in Fontenelle
Forest, a COMMON SNIPE was found in the Great Marsh.

In Seward County on the 10th, a male BALTIMORE ORIOLE was spotted in
Milford.

In Iowa in Woodbury County on the 6th, a CATTLE EGRET and 350 LAPLAND
LONGSPURS were seen at Sandhill Lake.
