Welcome to an update of the Nebraska Birdline, sponsored by the Audubon
Society of Omaha, for Monday, March 13th.

In central Nebraska in Hall County, the COMMON CRANE was seen again today
from 5:15-6:00 pm CST. Take the Wood River I-80 exit (Exit 300) and cross
the Platte River. The bird was located about 0.5 mile west of the
intersection of Denman Rd. and Highway 11. Denman Rd. is the first road
south of the river. The WHOOPING CRANE was seen about 1.5 miles west of
Highway 11 on Denman Rd. at 2 pm and 4:30 pm CST. If you see the COMMON
