Welcome to an update of the Nebraska Birdline, sponsored by the Audubon
Society of Omaha, for Saturday, March 18th.

In central Nebraska in Hall County, the COMMON CRANE was seen again on
Denman Rd. on the morning of the 18th at 8:30 AM. It was not found on
the evening of the 17th. Take the Wood River I-80 Exit 300 and cross the
Platte River. The bird was located about 7/10 of a mile west of the
intersection of Denman Rd. and Highway 11. Denman Rd. is the first road
south of the river. When viewing these birds, please remain in your
vehicle to avoid disturbing them. If you see the COMMON CRANE, please
