Welcome to an update of the Nebraska Birdline, sponsored by the Audubon
Society of Omaha, for Friday, June 22nd.

In eastern Nebraska in Clay County on the 15th, a RED PHALAROPE in basic
plumage was identified at North Hultine WPA. Also on the 15th, a
CINNAMON TEAL was found at Hultine WPA. At Kissinger WMA on the 15th, a
GREAT EGRET, 47 CATTLE EGRETS and 5 Plegadis IBIS sp. were found.

In Lancaster County on the 21st, 7 UPLAND SANDPIPERS and a WESTERN KINGBIRD
were seen at Spring Creek Prairie south of Denton.

In Dixon County on the 21st, an UPLAND SANDPIPER and a BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO
were found northwest of Wakefield.

In western Nebraska on the 17th, 41 WESTERN GREBES and a WESTERN WOOD-PEWEE
were seen at Box Butte Reservoir. Also on the 17th, a CORDILLERAN
FLYCATCHER and a DARK-EYED (White-winged) JUNCO were found in Dead Horse
Canyon in Nebraska National Forest. In Fort Robinson on the 17th,
WHITE-THROATED SWIFTS were seen at Lover's Leap Butte.

In Hitchcock County on the 15th, a BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK was found at
Swanson Reservoir.

In central Nebraska on the 21st in Loup County, 2 female RED CROSSBILLS
were seen at Myrtle Hall WMA 8 miles west of Taylor.
