Welcome to an update of the Nebraska Birdline, sponsored by the Audubon
Society of Omaha, for Friday, November 16th.

In central Nebraska in Dawson County, the COSTA'S HUMMINGBIRD was still
being seen in Lexington on the 16th. It has been visiting a feeder in
Kathy Niederdeppe's yard. Contact her at 308 324-5941 for directions to
view the bird. On the 12th, 15 EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVES were also seen there.

In western Nebraska in Keith County on the 9th, a BLACK SCOTER was
spotted at Lake Ogallala.

In eastern Nebraska in Dixon County on the 11th, 2 BROWN THRASHERS were
seen in a farm northwest of Wakefield. At least one of these birds was
seen again on the 15th.

In York County on the 9th, a GREATER YELLOWLEGS was found at Sinninger WPA.

In Iowa west of Missouri Valley on the 14th, 12 RUSTY BLACKBIRDS were
found on the trail near the headquarters at DeSoto NWR.
