Welcome to an update of the Nebraska Birdline, sponsored by the Audubon
Society of Omaha, for Tuesday, July 2nd.

In eastern Nebraska in Cedar County, a BROWN PELICAN was seen below
Gavin's Point Dam on the 1stand 2nd.

In Sarpy County on the 28th in Bellevue, an adult BROAD-WINGED HAWK, 4
PILEATED WOODPECKERS and a PROTHONOTARY WARBLER were found south of
Gifford Road in Fontenelle Forest.

In Cass County on the 26th, 2 KENTUCKY WARBLERS and 2 SCARLET TANAGERS
were singing in Platte River State Park.

In Douglas County on the 29th, a BALD EAGLE was spotted at Riverside
Lakes on the Elkhorn River about a half mile south of Dodge St.

In central Nebraska in Franklin County on the 19th an immature
SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER was seen 7 miles south of Hildreth and on the
21st, an adult was seen in the same area.

In western Nebraska in Scotts Bluff County on the 25th, 9 BURROWING OWLS
were seen at a prairie dog town at Kiowa WMA.

In Sheridan County on the 23rd, a LEAST BITTERN was seen at Willy Lake.
