Welcome to an update of the Nebraska Birdline, sponsored by the Audubon
Society of Omaha, for Thursday, Nov. 21st.

In eastern Nebraska in Cedar County on the 17th, a LONG-TAILED DUCK was
seen at Gavin's Point above the dam. Also on the 17th, a RED-NECKED
GREBE was seen at the Marina on the South Dakota side of Lewis and Clark Lake.

In Knox County on the 21st, 2 PURPLE FINCHES visited a feeder in
Creighton. On the 15th, a PEREGRINE FALCON was spotted between Santee and Center.

In Washington County on the 18th, about 50,000 SNOW GEESE and 25 BALD
EAGLES were seen at DeSoto NWR.

In central Nebraska on the 16th in Sherman County, 7 WILSON'S SNIPES were
seen at Bowman Lake WMA near Loup City. At Sherman Reservoir on the
16th, a WESTERN GREBE 5 COMMON MERGANSERS, 2 HOODED MERGANSERS and 5
BONAPARTE'S GULLS were found.

In Western Nebraska in Chase County on the 18th, 2 HORNED GREBES, 13
EARED GREBES, a WESTERN GREBE, a RED-NECKED GREBE, a PRAIRIE FALCON, a
NORTHERN SHRIKE and a TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE were found at Enders Reservoir.

In Scotts Bluff County on the 18th, 2 PINYON JAYS were seen in a yard in
Morrill, and on the 10th, a GRAY JAY was seen there. On the 19th, 2
EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVES were seen in Gering.
