In eastern Nebraska in Seward County on the 25th, a WHITE-WINGED DOVE was
spotted near Concordia University in Seward. Contact Joe Gubanyi

In western Nebraska in southeast Sioux County on the 25th, a
WHIP-POOR-WILL was heard singing on Wind Springs Ranch.
In Lincoln County on the 22nd, a BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO, 2 NORTHERN
MOCKINGBIRDS, 14 SPOTTED TOWHEES, 2 EASTERN TOWHEES, 3 BLUE GROSBEAKS and a
LAZULI BUNTING were found near Brady.
In Frontier County on the 22nd, 2 BURROWING OWLS were spotted in a
prairie dog town 2 miles west of Stockville.
In Sheridan County on the 22nd, at least 4 BURROWING OWL nests were found
in a small prairie dog town on the southern edge of Gordon. On the 23rd
at Smith Lake, a WESTERN GREBE, WILLOW FLYCATCHER, WESTERN WOOD-PEWEE and
several MARSH WRENS were seen.
In Garden County on the 17th, LONG-BILLED CURLEWS, NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRDS,
CASSIN'S SPARROWS and a BLUE GROSBEAK were found north of Crescent Lake
NWR. Also on the 17th, a GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE was seen on Crescent Lake NWR.
In north central Nebraska on the 22nd in Brown County, a WESTERN
WOOD-PEWEE, several YELLOW- BREASTED CHATS and a SCARLET TANAGER were found
on the Nature Conservancy Preserve south of Norden
