In south Sioux County on the 6th and 7th, 2 Lark Buntings, 4 Lark Sparrows, 2 Common
Nighthawks, a Great Crested Flycatcher, a Black-and-white Warbler, 3 McGillivray's
warblers, a Western Wood-Pewee and a Cordilleran Flycatcher were seen.
In Sheridan County on the 10th and 11th, 2 Eurasian Collared-Doves, Wilson's Warblers,
a Yellow-rumped Warbler, 4 Brown Thrashers, a White-crowned Sparrow, a Gray Catbird,
Red and Yellow-shafted Flickers, American Goldfinches, 20 Blue-winged Teal, 3 American
Wigeons, a Western Grebe, Red-tailed Hawks and Swainson's Hawks were seen in Hay Springs
and around Walgren Lake.
In Scotts Bluff County on the 11th , a Ruby-throated Hummingbird was observed at a
feeder in Mitchell.
In Dixon County on the 13th , a Say's Phobe was observed in a yard in Wakefield. Among
other species recorded at the same place were: 2 Indigo Buntings, a Rose-breasted Grosbeak,
a Baltimore Oriole, a Brown Thrasher, a Eastern Bluebird, and an immature male
Ruby-throated Hummingbird.
In Buffalo County on the 12th, an American White Pelican was seen at University of
Nebraska at Kearney campus. On the 13th, 2 Northern Harriers, Franklin's Gulls, and an
Osprey were recorded around Kearney and Minden.
In Richardson County on the 14th, 78 Turkey Vultures, 3 Broad-winged Hawks, a American
Kestrel, 32 Red-headed Woodpeckers, an Eastern Wood-Pewee, 7 Great Crested Flycatchers,
a Carolina Wren, 12 Cedar Waxwings, a Summer Tanager, 7 Nashville Warblers, 2
Black-throated Green Warblers and 3 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks were seen at Indian Cave
State Park.
In Cherry County on the 14th, a Townsend's Solitaire, a Eastern Phoebe, 2 Bald Eagles
and a Osprey were seen at the Niobrara Valley Preserve.
In Dixon County on the 14th, Clay-colored Sparrows, Lincoln's Sparrows, a Ruby-throated
Hummingbird, an Eastern Phoebe, 2 Indigo Buntings, an Eastern Bluebird, a Warbling Vireo,
a Brown Thrasher and a Baltimore Oriole were seen in Wakefield.
In Johnson County on the 14th, a Northern Mockingbird, 2 Carolina Wrens and 5 Cattle
Egrets were observed around Tecumseh.
In Lincoln County on the 15th, among other species an Osprey, a Solitary Sandpiper, a
Spotted Sandpiper, a Wilson's Snipe, a Belted Kingfisher, a Wilson's Warbler, a
Clay-colored Sparrow and a Vesper Sparrow were recorded around the North Platte Game
and Parks Office, and the Hatchery Ponds.
In Lancaster County on the 15th, among other species 4 Greater Prairie-chickens, 3 Marsh
Wrens, an Eastern Phoebe, 4 Horned larks and a Lincoln's sparrow were seen at Spring Creek
near Denton.
